URMS first CSR Project – STAND BY PINK! Be an advocate for Breast Cancer Awareness

This year we launched our Corporate Social Responsibility initiative (UR Care), which is our pledged commitment to give back to the Society, People and Industry. We as a business and individuals are a part of our society. Beyond striving for economic goals, we would like to establish a deeper meaning and purpose as a business, and contribute to social sustainability.
– (Care for our Society): CSR activities to give back to society by engaging communities to help the less fortunate and raise awareness for various social issues.
– (Care for our People): Our people are UR’s greatest asset; we would like to attribute our success to their contributions, sharing their personal and work achievements.
– (Care for our Industry): Driving our business’ goals and innovation to bring the industry solutions for tomorrow’s problems.
Women’s International Day (8 March 2018)
In the rougher, male-dominant heavy industry sector, we would want to recognize and appreciate women at work. In present day, women are playing pivotal roles in our workplace and their contributions at both work and home are definitely worth commemorating. This year, we would like to make it more special by collaborating with Singapore Breast Cancer Foundation, to extend our care, support and spread awareness for the cause.
Be an advocate of Breast Cancer Awareness
URMS staff has gathered together for the packing of the Pink Goodie Packs! Each pack contains a pair of pink glove, Pink Ribbon Pin and the Breast Book. You can join us as an advocate for Breast Cancer Awareness by purchasing a goodie pack at $8. All proceeds will go to BCF.
